Monero (XMR) is the leading privacy coin — amounts, senders, and recipients are obscured on-chain by default via ring signatures, stealth addresses, and RingCT. Swapping Monero without KYC is the top reason users come to NoKYCSwap: buying XMR from BTC/USDT without a regulated on-ramp, or cashing XMR out to BTC for on-ramp access, while preserving the privacy boundary.
About Monero
Monero was launched in 2014 as a fork of Bytecoin, and has been continuously developed with privacy as the non-negotiable property. Every transaction is private by default — there is no "transparent mode." Amounts are hidden behind Pedersen commitments; senders are hidden inside ring signatures of 16 (currently); recipients receive at stealth addresses derivable only by their view key.
The Monero base-layer confirmation time is ~2 minutes, and the recommended confirmation count for exchange deposits is 10 — so a full Monero swap leg takes ~20 minutes. Settlement on NoKYCSwap is dominated by this when Monero is the sending asset.
How to buy Monero anonymously
- Start with a self-custody BTC, ETH, or USDT balance — withdrawn from any source to a wallet you control. The cleaner the source the better; an exchange withdrawal that settles in your own wallet for a day first is a simple coin-hygiene step.
- Open the NoKYCSwap widget, pick your source asset, pick XMR as receive.
- Generate a fresh subaddress in your Monero wallet (Monero GUI, Feather, or Cake). Paste it as the destination.
- Send the deposit, receive Monero in your wallet in about 8 minutes.
How to cash Monero out without KYC
The reverse flow — XMR to BTC or USDT — works identically. Send XMR from your wallet to the single-use deposit address, receive BTC or USDT at your destination. The XMR sending leg takes ~20 minutes because of Monero\'s confirmation depth; plan accordingly.
Monero privacy notes
- Use a fresh subaddress per received swap. Reusing a Monero subaddress doesn\'t break your privacy, but it removes one compartmentalisation vector for free.
- Run your own Monero node when possible. Wallet queries leak balance information to the node you query.
getmonero.orgdistributes the default node list; Feather Wallet lets you run Tor-over-node trivially. - Do not reconcile XMR balances from a KYC\'d IP. If you check your Monero balance from a browser session that\'s logged into Binance, Binance\'s network-level observers gain a correlation.
