About Kaspa
Kaspa uses the GHOSTDAG protocol — a generalisation of Bitcoin\'s longest-chain rule that includes parallel blocks in the consensus instead of orphaning them. This lets Kaspa target one-block-per-second throughput while keeping a proof-of-work security model. The asset, KAS, has no premine, no allocation, and no admin keys.
How to swap Kaspa without KYC
- Hold KAS in a Kaspa wallet (KasWallet, KDX, Tangem hardware support, Ledger via Kaspium).
- Open the widget, KAS as send, pick destination.
- Paste the destination address. Note: KAS addresses use the
kaspa:prefix. - Send, receive. Kaspa finality is fast on the send leg; total settlement time is dominated by the receiving asset.
Kaspa privacy notes
- The KAS ledger is public. Like Bitcoin. Address hygiene is your responsibility.
- Mining payouts are forensically linkable. If your wallet receives payouts from a known pool address, the pool relationship is public. Use a fresh address for swaps if that matters to you.
- For privacy exits, KAS → XMR via NoKYCSwap is a direct path — see our KAS → XMR pair page.
